Don't Ghost Books

Our South & Capitol Elementary students weren't afraid of a little reading challenge this October! Librarians Pam Alexander & Tiffany Harkins challenged students to read a picture book every day & successfully pass an Accelerated Reader quiz to keep their reading streak alive! And the reward? A fun Halloween treat for those who completed the challenge! But the real treat is discovering the magic of reading! ️ Every book builds vocabulary, strengthens comprehension, sparks imagination & helps our young readers grow into lifelong learners! We send out a huge thank-you to Mrs. Alexander & Mrs. Harkins for finding creative ways to make reading fun & rewarding! Our students know that books are a treat, not a trick!
