Together Musical

South Elementary fifth-graders performed the musical "Together" today for live audiences. Their inspiring program reminded us that although we may come from different backgrounds, communities, and cultures, we have so much more in common than we realize! They said that we can solve problems, overcome challenges, and make our world a better place. They encouraged us to embrace our differences! But perhaps the most important message of all came from the students themselves: They are our future! And what a bright future it can be when we learn to respect, appreciate, and support one another! We are so proud of our South 5th graders for sharing such a meaningful message. Sometimes the greatest lessons aren't taught from a textbook but through the voices of children who remind us what really matters. Thank you, Mrs. Turner for helping students find their place at South!
