South Spelling Bee Winner
South proudly congratulates 4th grader Braydon Flores, winner of the 2026 South Spelling Bee! Braydon beat 27 other spellers in a competition that lasted nine rounds. He won by spelling the word "perfume." We also recognize Runner-Up Paisley Cogdell and Alternate A'Zierah Brooks for their outstanding performances. All three students will represent South again at the District Spelling Bee on Monday. We wish them the very best of luck! Great job, spellers! Thank you to Ms. Stecklein and all the parents for working with your students to help them be strong spellers, and thank you to Assistant Principals Katie Pena and Amy Pebsworth for judging this intense competition!
