LISD extends a huge thank you to The Wallace and Alycyn Keeling for engaging our students in the arts! Today, South and Capitol fourth-graders had the special opportunity to see, hear, and learn from Classical Pianist Piotr Folkert at the prestigious Wallace. Mr. Folkert sparked students’ curiosity by asking when the piano was invented before captivating them with his expressive performance on the very instrument. Mr. Folkert will be in performance at The Wallace on October 10th.
