South Elementary

LISD 4th graders enjoyed their annual field trip to Ag Awareness Day, hosted by the Hockley County Agrilife Extension! Students had a wonderful time learning about our water resources and the importance of conservation. They explored various aspects of veterinary science, discovered the origins of beef, and learned about cotton production and ginning, as well as other key crops in our agricultural community. In addition, students gained insight into the wildlife of Hockley County and the importance of making healthy eating choices and keeping Levelland Beautiful. It was an educational and engaging day for everyone!
