South Elementary

Congratulations to South Elementary Librarian for receiving a Hockley County Endowment Grant! She was able to get enough money to purchase flexible seating for her library classes. While at Library Convention last year she learned of the best seats to help kids stay still and to focus on her library lesson, but Mrs. Harkins knew she would have to obtain grants to get the money to purchase them. And she did! Mrs. Harkins will be able to get some of the seating with the $1469.00 grant from the Hockley County Endowment Grant. Levelland ISD sends out a huge thank you to Hockley County Endowment for enabling teachers to reach their dreams of making school a great place for students to learn and grow! Congratulations Mrs. Harkins!
