It's all-hands-on-deck at South Elementary during WIN time! WIN time at South means: What I Need! South educators are using WIN time every day as their response to intervention to help all students, including struggling learners and advanced learners. Teachers are breaking out in small groups all over the building with an approach to give South students opportunities to learn and work at their grade level, and to challenge those that work above their level. The idea is to help all students be successful at learning to show growth! Everyone is involved! Some work on math skills, others reading skills, some use technology, while others work on logic, sang songs, and even did physical exercises. All these things make for a better student ready to learn each day! Thank you, South teachers, for helping students be WINners in the classroom! You're in the right place!
