Kiss A Pig!

South Elementary students participated in a Children's Miracle Network Fundraiser all month to make one of their teachers "Kiss A Pig!" Students raised money by bringing pocket change, wearing $1 PJs, hats, & silly socks, and contributing to a $1 dance party, the concession stand & and popsicle party! Students placed their daily collections in the teacher's jug that they wanted to see "Kiss A Pig!" It was a tie between South Principal Mrs. Shelbi Eugenis and first-grade teacher Ms. Linda Tucker, so both educators had to pucker up! Each of their jugs contained 60.8 pounds of coins, making them have the honors of pig kissing! South students raised $2034.44 in funds that will aid children in hospitals in our area. Thank you, Mrs. Mandi Campbell, for heading this up, and thank you, South SuperStars for all your contributions that will help save the lives of sick kids!
