CTE Month: Technology Starts Early

As we near the end of CTE month, we all know how important technology is for 21-Century Learners. LISD leads the way in technology learning in so many ways.  Heidi Blair and our LISD technology staff ensure that LISD is up-to-date on the best digital teaching devices available.  We have mentioned our 1:1 initiative before, but that is a huge goal that is nearly complete.  Having these learning devices enables all LISD teachers to impart knowledge to students to gain computer skills.  South Elementary 3rd-graders were caught in Miss Underwood's computer class working on an LISD app that includes reading, math, and thinking skills! Thank you, Miss Underwood, for helping your students get an early start on learning in the digital world!
