Fourth-grade students in South's Library classes recently planned and created 3D projects with Librarian Tiffany Harkins. Students read books about 3D printers, then learned how to code, slice, and build projects. They studied safety measures and learned how to change filaments. They are grateful for the opportunity to use technology that can prepare them for potential careers that utilize 3D printers. Mrs. Harkins wants to thank the LIFE Foundation for their generous donation, and David from LISD IT for assisting in the setup of the printer. She says, "We look forward to creating and collaborating on 3D projects in the future!"
