Genius Hour!

South Elementary students had their first Genius Hour! It was amazing! Every student had the opportunity to show their creativity in Art, MakersSpace, Creativity, Technology, Yearbook, Lego building, and more. They used critical thinking in coding, chess, robotics, music club, Kahoot club, and UIL Spelling. They also had the opportunity to learn about space, the ocean, plants, board games, and Levelland. Student had the opportunity to move and stretch their bodies, as well as talk about how to manage their emotions. In drama, cooking, dancing, sports club, glee club, and literacy club everyone was moving, grooving, and loving every minute! Mrs. Eugenis and Ms. King #expectexcellence and send a huge shout-out to all of the amazing South teachers who stepped up to provide an opportunity for South students to use their brains in a different way!
