This little piggy went to Capitol & South Elementaries! Megan Tisler with https://westtexminipig.com took her Julianna Mini-Pig "Charlotte" to South & Capitol to introduce students to another breed of therapy animal. Students learned that these mini pigs are smaller than domestic pigs, are very clean animals & actually like baths. They learned that these pigs are smart, have 44 teeth, and that they can do tricks! Owners can harness train their piglet & take him/her for a walk around the neighborhood or anything else you would normally train a dog to do. Students learned why pigs root and why they roll in the mud! So parents, if your child wants a mini pig, this is why! Just remember pigs are a big responsibility like any pet would be.
