National Kindness Day!

It's National Kindness Day, and South Elementary students in Counselor Robyn Parkinson's classes have been working on Kindness Rocks to focus on being kind to others. The Kindness Rocks are in the rock garden at South for the taking if you need a boost. They're for sharing if you have a friend who needs a lift. They're for anyone that might need one word to change their day. Students can leave one, share one, or keep one when needing a lift. Mrs. Parkinson focuses on social & emotional learning and knows it is critical to a child's development. This is just one activity she uses to reach children throughout the year.
