Carving a pumpkin is a fall tradition, and it can be super messy. However, this digital pumpkin is a fun alternative! South third-graders in Miss Underwood's computer class enjoyed carving a digital pumpkin, using Google Slides. We know that digital learning is a must for our future and Miss Underwood is making sure her students are proficient in this skill. The easy version of this challenge was that students simply drag and drop the shapes onto their pumpkins and change the size and color. The advanced version was that students used the poly-line tool to create wacky shapes. Students also completed a writing prompt to describe their pumpkins. to their classmates. Thank you, Miss Underwood, for moving your students forward with 21st-Century Computer Skills!
