New AP Drops In!

South Elementary students were found in the library with Mrs. Roxanne Toney engaged with the new 2022 Texas 2X2 book: Norman Didn't Do It (Yes He Did)! by Ryan Higgins. This book is about gaining friends and learning how to deal with things when they don't go your way. Students ended the library lesson by completing the MakerSpace challenge of creating a hammock, which is how Norman solved his problem at the end of the story! It was so nice to have Mrs. Heather King drop by and see us learn. She will start as the new Assistant Principal for South in the fall! South students are so lucky to have Mrs. Toney, who keeps all students learning at all times! You're in the right place!
