South Students Did It Again!

South Elementary students raised $2,751.77 for Children's Miracle Network! Mrs. Mandi Campbell's GT students helped come up with different ideas of ways to raise money for this year's project. Students "taped the principal" to the wall, had several dress-up days, and had a very successful game time where students brought a game from home to play. They also had "penny wars" between the three grade levels and students brought change to be weighed. Winning a popsicle and extra recess party was third-graders with 113.6 pounds in coins! Coming in second was 2nd-grade with 107.8 pounds, and in third place was 1st-grade with 87.3 pounds of coins. Over the last five years, South has raised over $10,000 for Children's Miracle Network: $2035.44 in 2021, $1495.18 in 2020, $2251.28 in 2019, and $2173.32 in 2018. We are so thankful that our South students find it in their hearts to help local children in our area! We have the most thoughtful children and parents! You're in the right place!
